Since March, Gulftainer has been assisting thousands of SMEs across its operations in five countries that are facing outlet flow restrictions, providing them with temporary storage for their shipments. This initiative has resulted in millions of dollars in savings for our SME customers, allowing them to avoid incremental supply chain costs for their storage requirements.
In addition, Gulftainer and Momentum Logistics are working with carriers to utilise the Khorfakkan Container Terminal as an option for laden containers delayed in transit. Empty containers in need of repositioning also benefit from harbouring in a depot until service resumes.
